Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Project Estimator located in Southwest, FL. The candidate may work from home but must be available to visit project sites in person 5 days per week, Monday through Friday. The Project Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include site visits, analyzing project proposals, analyzing engineered plans, creating detailed cost estimates, managing budgets, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring all project cost-related documentation is accurate and up to date. Effective communication with stakeholders and team members is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Cost Management, Budgeting, and Project Estimation
• Experience in Construction Estimating, Commercial and Residential
• Strong Communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to visit jobsites throughout Southwest Florida primarily (Sarasota to Naples), and occasionally further (Tampa, Orlando)
• 3+ years experience in an Estimating role, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Relevant industry certifications and experience are beneficial
• Experience bidding on government, county, and municipality jobs will be highly considered.
