Job Duties:

This is an equipment support role responsible. Ideal for someone with some experience around heavy equipment who wants to grow into a mechanic or operator role.

- Fuel all equipment daily, including haul trucks, loaders, excavators, water trucks, and support vehicles.

- Wash equipment and perform basic cleaning of exteriors, cabs, and critical components to remove mud, dust, and buildup. Wash truck on site.

- Grease and lubricate moving parts (pins, bushings, booms, buckets, conveyors, bearings, etc.) per maintenance schedules.

- Check and top off fluids (engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, DEF) and report leaks or issues to maintenance.

- Assist mechanics with simple tasks such as moving tools, staging parts, and basic minor repairs.

- Perform basic walkaround inspections and immediately report unsafe conditions or equipment damage.

- Maintain fuel, lube, and wash areas in a clean and safe condition; follow all environmental and safety procedures.


Qualifications:

- Prior experience working around heavy equipment, trucking, construction, or mining preferred.

- Comfortable working outdoors in heat, rain, and dusty quarry conditions.

- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn; career interest in maintenance or equipment operations is a plus.

- Valid driver’s license; ability to safely operate light vehicles and possibly a fuel/lube truck (CDL a plus but not required for all roles).

- Able to lift 50+ lbs, drag fuel hoses, climb on and off equipment, and work on uneven ground.

- Must be safety-minded, reliable, and able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Schedule, Pay, and Benefits, All Positions:

-Full-time, year-round work; typical Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays/ Sunday availability as needed for production and maintenance (fueling).

- Competitive hourly pay, based on experience and role (mechanic vs. washer/fueler/greaser).

- Overtime opportunities during peak production periods, if previously approved.

- Company-paid safety training, including MSHA, and advancement opportunities into senior mechanic or equipment operator roles available.
