Job Description

As a Construction Job Runner, you will play a vital role in supporting our project management team to ensure the successful completion of all remodel projects. This position is ideal for someone with little to no experience in construction who is eager to gain valuable hands-on experience and grow within the industry.


Key Responsibilities


1. Material Procurement: Assist in procuring all necessary materials and equipment for each remodel project. This includes coordinating with project management, and ensuring materials are on-site when needed and additional materials are picked up in a timely manner.


2. Project Coordination: Work closely with the project manager and subcontractors to coordinate project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to project timelines.


3. Site Support: Provide on-site support to the project management team and subcontractors, assisting with tasks such as site clean-up, material organization, and basic construction duties as needed.


4. Communication: Maintain open and clear communication channels between the project management team, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned throughout the project.


5. Quality Assurance: Assist in conducting regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and specifications.


6. Documentation: Assist in maintaining accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, material lists, and change orders.


Qualifications:


- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

- Basic understanding of construction principles and terminology (preferred but not required).

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks as needed on construction sites.
