Join us for the CDBIA August General Membership Meeting- 2025 Legislative Update

This has been a successful year for the building industry. We invite you to hear about how FHBA and our legislators have helped our building industry.

The meeting will take place at the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club, located at 4400 Lister Street, Port Charlotte, FL 33952

2025 Florida Legislative Session has been very successful for the building industry.  Join us to hear updates on how some of the new bills will affect construction.

Joining us for this evening is:

FHBA President and member of the CDBIA family, Ryan Benson, AVA Builder

Also, joining is
State Representative District 75, and member of the CDBIA family, Danny Nix Jr (The Nix Team at Coldwell Banker Sunstar Realty) 

State Representative District 76, and member of the CDBIA family, Vanessa Oliver (Ambitrans)

The price is $60 for members and $75 per guest. 

Dinner includes 1 drink ticket. If you are a spike, you will get 2 drink tickets AND if you are a spike who has recruited a member in 2025, you will earn THREE drink tickets!

This will be an evening of networking, education and meeting the leaders of the building industry.

Progressive Pot: At the end of the evening, one CDBIA member's name will be drawn to win the progressive pot. This month, the pot is at $550.00! If the member is present, they will win the pot. If not, we will add $50 to the pot and draw again next month.

The evening will consist of:

• 5:00-6:00 networking
• 6:00 Prayer & Pledge
• 6:15 Dinner
• Welcome new members
• Updates about the CDBIA
• Progressive Pot: $550.00
