About this project:
The AC Freeman House is a Queen Anne-style home built in 1903. In 2005, the home was acquired by the city of Punta Gorda and relocated to land owned by Alfred Gilchrist at the corner of West Retta Esplanade and US41. It is a warm welcome to travelers as they cross the bridge heading south to show the artistic and historic flair of Punta Gorda.
The home has been sitting vacant and dormant since June, 2020.
Thanks to TJ Thornberry, Thornberry Custom Builders, the CDBIA has entered into a lease agreement with the city to bring this historic home back to life!
