CDBIA Sandles Awards Applications Now Open

Charlotte County, FL — The Charlotte DeSoto Building Industry Association (CDBIA) is now accepting applications for the Sandles Awards, an annual celebration of excellence in sales and marketing throughout the building and construction industry.

The CDBIA is encouraging industry professionals to nominate their business partners and help recognize the people and companies whose hard work, dedication and achievements contribute to the success of our local building industry.

Named in honor of the late Larry Sandles, a respected Charlotte County builder and leader in sales and marketing, the Sandles Awards celebrate a legacy of leadership and achievement. Larry was a charter member and past president of the CDBIA and played an important role in helping the local building community achieve recognition and success throughout the state of Florida.

The Sandles Awards provide an opportunity for the building industry to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of its professionals. From outstanding subcontractors to leading sales teams and professionals across the many facets of construction, the awards recognize excellence throughout the industry.

This is a chance for our industry to come together and celebrate the people and businesses that work hard every day to help build our community. We encourage everyone to nominate their business partners and shine a spotlight on the achievements that deserve to be recognized.

Applications are open to anyone in the building industry, providing an opportunity for professionals throughout the industry to nominate deserving individuals, companies and teams. (must be licensed)

Unlike traditional awards programs, voting for the Sandles Awards will be conducted by CDBIA members, allowing members of the local building industry to recognize their peers and business partners.

Applications must be submitted by October 2, 2026. To submit an entry or request additional information, contact Caitlin at caitlin@cdbia.com.

The CDBIA invites its members and the entire building community to participate in this special opportunity to celebrate the hard work, dedication and accomplishments of the professionals who continue to strengthen our community.
