Job Description: Remediator/Carpenter

A. Job Summary

Must be able to manage or assist each phase from the initial stage to completion. This position reports directly to the Project Supervisor and/or Project Manager of that location. Interfacing with other departments within the company is required.

B. Key Responsibilities

Core responsibilities for this position are as follows:

Demolition and construction skills are necessary: including installing flooring, install and repair molding and trim, finish drywall, tile work, cabinets, painting, installing doors

Follow procedure to perform water and fire damage service and mold remediation for residential and commercial property

Assist Lead Technician while performing a water, fire damage, and mold remediation or emergency service

Content Inventory

Move, pack, store, catalog, and keep track of customer contents, including household furnishing and other goods

Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors/management/customers

Take direction from Project Coordinator, Project Manager or Supervisor

Responsible for having the customer complete all contracts to have us authorized to perform service

Project Documentation and record keeping

Perform necessary tasks to help expedite the completion of the job

Maintain company vehicle and restock supplies as needed

Complete timecard efficiently and in a timely manner

C. Experience/ Requirements

The position of Technician requires the following:

Fluent in the English language

Valid Driver’s License

Regular attendance and arriving to work on-time

On-call and work after hours when necessary

Occasional heavy lifting (able to lift 50 lbs)
